The Orange Tree Egg, among the most ingenius works of legendary jeweler Peter Carl Faberge, makes its world premiere in the “Faberge” exhibit at the Riverfront Arts Center in Wilmington, Del., Sept. 9, 2000. The tree has a winding mechanism which enables its top to open so a nightingale can emrge and warble while moving its head, wings, and beak.
